The decision was finalised by DC co-chairs Peter Safran and Gunn, who also serves as the director, after conducting screen tests during the weekend of June 17.

David Corenswet, born on July 8, 1993, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has steadily gained momentum on his journey to stardom. He discovered his passion for acting early and honed his craft through formal training, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the prestigious Juilliard School. Corenswet had appeared in several TV shows and movies before his breakthrough role on House of Cards.
