The New Tropicana Las Vegas is one of the most iconic, legendary and most loved casinos in Las Vegas.
It’s an original that has survived in a town that loves nothing more than raising it’s icons to the ground and starting again.
In recent years it’s had a makeover to attract new customers whilst keeping it’s loyal clientele.
It’s a tough town to survive. Travellers are picky and won’t accept average – especially in Las Vegas where have more options per square inch than anywhere else on the world.

The rooms have been renovated and they’re impressive. Most importantly they offer tremendous value for money.
What’s also great about the Trop is that by other standards it’s relatively small (still huge by European standards).
Getting to your room at the Tropicana is way easier compared to MGM, Aria or even the Venetian where it can easily be a 20 minute walk.
The Tropicana offers world class entertainment and great restaurants including Biscayne Steak ~ Sea ~ WIne.
The service is perfect at Biscayne Steak and the food is very nice:
Don’t miss the scallops with asparagus – really fabulous and the steak was excellent.

Entertainment always be associated with this iconic hotel. After all, Sammy Davis opened the casino – it doesn’t get bigger than that!

So, the rooms – impressive & spacious by 2014 standards.
My suite 1802 was incredibly large with an office, living room and bedroom all designed to a nice standards.
The views down the boulevard were fabulous! The rooms are clean, fresh, incredibly spacious & modern.
The rooms come complete with coffee machine, water and wifi within the room fee – again rare in Vegas 2014.
Whilst visiting the Tropicana, do checkout the pool.
The gardens & views are beautifully from the Beach Café. You cannot fail to have a blast in the Vegas sunshine….
The food at Beach Café is also impressive.
With a great breakfast menu, lunch buffet and burgers, sandwiches, wraps & salads – there’s something for everyone.
This restaurant is great value and if you can sit outside you really do get a uniquely tranquil and relaxed dining experience.
