This is a privately owned hotel and spa with a gym, private cinema, 2 AA Rosette Clocktower restaurant and 18 hole parkland golf course is the epitome of indulgence.
Set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens and woodland, Rudding Park is one of the most relaxing hotels in the country and one of the nicest experiences I’ve had in the UK.
From Stars, Prime Ministers to Royalty – they’ve all stayed here. With rooms from £200 and online specials last minute, this is a quality stay.
With an outstanding breakfast and very impressive, decadent rooms – this recently renovated property has less than 100 rooms with a boutique feel.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous country feel luxury stay, don’t miss Rudding Park 2 miles from Harrogate and 15 minutes from the A1 at Wetherby.

The rooms are remarkable and some of the most modern I’ve stayed in outside of London.
With state of the art light and door controls, in-room mini-bar, superb bathrooms and HD TV – this is an indulgent stay.
The beds are excellent and come with various options of duvet and pillow.
The bathroom is exceptional with power-shower over-head and also detachable nozzle.
The bath is superb and the perfect end to your day at Rudding Park.
I am hugely impressed by the cleanliness and size of the bathrooms. 5* for sure.
You’ll also enjoy the radio for entertainment as well as Molton Brown shampoo, moisturiser & shower gel.
Breakfast at Rudding Park is one of the most enjoyable morning experiences I’ve had in a hotel.
With buffet options for juice, breads, croissants, cereals & fruit – it’s a meal in itself.
The hot menu options are also delightful. I loved the salmon and scrambled eggs – truly delicious and perfectly cooked.
Lunch and dinner is equally as impressive at the 2 AA Rosette Clocktower restaurant.
This eatery has won numerous awards, including ‘Best Restaurant in Yorkshire and the North East’ and ‘Banqueting Chef of the Year”.
From a light lunch to a private celebratory three course dinner, enjoy delicious food in one of the most relaxed and friendly Harrogate restaurants.
Sunday lunch was an absolute delight with 2 courses for £25.
When you arrive at the hotel you can park in front of reception. Once checked in you will be walked to your room – a very classy touch.
The bar at Rudding Park is equally as relaxing and enjoyable.
Service is incredibly attentive and as you would expect, the bar is fully stocked.
Rudding Park Spa is very highly regarded and open until 7.30pm most nights.
The Spa has four treatment rooms, including a hammam, beauty area, steam room, experience shower and two relaxation areas.
They have an extensive range of treatments use three luxurious product ranges; CARITA, Spiezia, Aromatherapy Associates
The gym is also excellent with treadmills, cross-trainers and free weights.
This hotel is one of the most disabled friendly properties in the UK.
With exceptional access rooms with roll-in showers & even electric door on entry to your room, they’ve clearly gone to great lengths to make you feel at home.
Your room can be a double access or twin access option….
I was truly impressed by Rudding Park Harrogate. This is a rare treat that I cannot wait to return to.
They’ve got everything right from service, dining, beverage & rooms – nothing is too much trouble. I love that!
