Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Review Marco Pierre White New Menu Alea Nottingham….
MPW Steakhouse is one of Nottingham’s top eateries offering a sophisticated & elegant dining experience with excellent food, warm service & lovely presentation.
Brought to you by one of the worlds most critically acclaimed celebrity chefs, Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse Bar and Grill at Alea Nottingham offers a seasonal menu cooked fresh with locally sourced products.
As you would expect, the steaks are sensational, however, there’s also a comprehensive menu including fresh fish, burgers, and salads.
Marco Pierre White SteakhouseBar & Grill offers a calm and relaxed atmosphere cleverly connected to the Alea Casino – but not affected by it. The room does have a unique energy which creates an ambient atmosphere. It is truly one of the most stylish in Nottingham.
MPW’s steakhouse is decadent and with starters averaging £6-9 and mains £18-£30. This is the perfect venue for a treat, special occasion or important event.

The service at MPW is one of my favourite things about this eatery. The staff are cleverly picked to make you feel at home without any pretention whatsoever.
Once seated, you’ll be given a fine dining experience with an exceptional wine list available for the first time by the glass.
To begin, don’t miss the new Chorizo Bites. Their decadent and delicious.
Of course the bread and olives are a perfect amuse bouche…
To begin there are several excellent starters I’d like to recommend….
The ‘Panzanella Salad’ was a light, refreshing delight with tomatoes, onion, cucumba and croutons.
For me though a new special treat this season is the ‘Lobster Bits’.
It’s not what you expect! It’s a hot starter offering a fork full of flavour with fresh lobster and crispy gratin. Fabulous.
Before you order the server will show you the meat board. This is not to everyone’s taste but for me, it’s a great way for a steakhouse to celebrate it’s best cuts.
I’ve visited MPW Alea many times, I deliberately did not chose a steak today as they’re all excellent as you would expect – Marco wouldn’t tolerate less.
So, I was told that the ‘Chicken Kiev’ was a restaurant revelation and the newest hit on the menu. I have to agree! This is not your frozen Kiev junk – it’s perfectly cooked chicken breast with extra garlic butter on the side should you require it. Wonderful.
The fish at Marco’s is fresh and delicious. I loved the swordfish. A delightful light supper on a bed of spinach & new potatoes.
Next, I wanted to try the veal. This 10oz entrecote was a delight. So tender, perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. The warm & smooth bearnaise sauce was the perfect accompaniment.
You can also enjoy a two course Sunday lunch menu at MPW. Choose from lamb, beef or chicken and enjoy a roast offering great value accompanied by easy-listening Jazz.
Finally – DO NOT miss dessert at Alea!
The 1930’s original Knickerbocker Glory was an indulgent delight and a fun finale to the meal.
As always with Marco, he loves to re-invent the classics. His Apple Crumble was as good as it could possibly be.
Finally, the chocolate brownie was sensational. My absolute favourite. so rich in flavour and texture. The perfect end to a great meal.
So, once again, MPW Steakhouse & Grill Nottingham delivered a hugely enjoyable meal.
Don’t miss Marco’s pre-theatre special before 7pm if you’re visiting the Theatre Royal, Concert Hall or Nottingham Arena.
