Brittany Snow, the Hollywood actress known for her roles in films like the “Pitch Perfect” franchise, and her husband, real estate agent Tyler Stanaland, have officially confirmed the conclusion of their marriage following a nine-month separation period.
Documents obtained by E! News on July 5 revealed that the couple had finalized their divorce. On August 11, both parties will be legally recognized as single individuals, voluntarily waiving their rights to spousal support.
In terms of asset division, the former couple has reached an agreement. Brittany Snow, aged 37, will receive full ownership of all furniture, furnishings, fixtures, appliances, collectables, antiques, art, electronics, and other personal property currently in her possession and under her control. This includes a 2022 Audi 5 and the security deposit for a rental property located in Studio City, California.
On the other hand, Tyler Stanaland, aged 33, will retain all personal belongings currently in his possession, along with a 2021 Toyota 4-Runner.
Both parties are responsible for their respective attorney fees and mutually agreed to waive any rights to inherit from each other’s estates, as stated in a stipulated judgment.
Breakup and Divorce
On September 14, the couple announced their decision to split, emphasizing that it was made with love and mutual respect for one another. They expressed the need for personal growth and fulfilling and authentic lives.
In a joint statement posted on Instagram, Snow and Stanaland they highlighted their initial foundation as best friends and their commitment to maintaining a positive relationship. They made it clear that their bond remained a priority, not only for themselves but also for their beloved dog, Charlie.
Reflecting on the past year, the actress opened up about her mental health challenges. She described it as the most demanding test she had ever encountered, revealing that her life turned upside down in hours.
Snow expressed feeling blindsided and experiencing a complete shift in everything she had once held sacred and trusted. To add to the difficulties, her grandmother passed away shortly after, further testing her understanding of mental health.
During this challenging time, Snow credited her friends for helping her navigate the emotional turmoil. Their persistent presence reminded her of her true self and the values she stood for.
