The Sheraton Times Square is one of the premier hotels in New York.
Located seconds from the heart of Broadway and within walking distance of all of the major Manhattan attractions, this is a delightful hotel.
This classy hotel features 1,781 newly renovated rooms in the heart of Midtown on bustling 7th Avenue and 53rd.
Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, you’ll enjoy indulgence, comfort and luxury at a very competitive price.
With all New York hotels being expensive, it’s my advice to pay a little bit more and enjoy the luxury of Sheraton Club standard room. The pay off is certainly worth it.
This is not ‘the best hotel’ in New York. But, it is certainly one of the best value for money in terms of location and the standard of rooms….especially if you add in the lounge.

The bedrooms are large by New York standards and decorated and furnished to a high standard.
There’s free Wifi throughout your stay.
With 2 options for dining – The Hudson Market and the Lobby Link café, this is a destination hotel.
The Club Rooms feature first-class amenities, including access to the Health Club and Club Level Lounge and preferred floor locations to ensure a peaceful stay.
With HD TV’s, a chez lounge, desk, endless power supply (essential in 2015), a safe and a compact bathroom with power shower – this will not disappoint.
The linens are of a very high standard and the beds are incredibly comfortable as you would expect. You can even buy a Sheraton bed if have a fantastic nights sleep!
The bathroom is small – this is NYC. It serves its purpose though, but don’t invite friends for a party!
You’ll also find Starbucks coffee in-room. This is vary rare in City hotels although with a club room there’s free & fresh coffee 24 hours a day in the lounge.
What is most spectacular are the views from your window. Here from the 44th floor – they are sensational!
The Club Rooms give you access to the ‘Club Lounge’. A must for any traveller.
Again, for a small amount extra, this will make your trip so much more enjoyable and fun.
Sadly at the moment the lounge is exceptionally busy at breakfast which does ruin the experience. You may well struggle for a seat.
Open 24 hours a day you can always recharge with coffee and fresh fruit in the City that NEVER sleeps…
From 6.30am-9.30am there’s breakfast & from 5.30pm there’s evening cheese and biscuits.
The breakfast is truly impressive although the lounge does get very busy.
We’d describe it as ‘continental’ featuring cereals, toast, pastries, croissants, yoghurts and more – it will set you up for the day….
As well as stunning views, you get business facilities and a bar from 5pm-11pm which you can charge to your room. All soft drinks are free.
I do not know of another hotel lounge open 24/7 – that’s impressive!
From 5.30pm you can enjoy the bar and cheese and crackers whilst watching the sun set over The Great White Way.
There is a gym on the lower level of the hotel.
This fitness centre is impressive and spacious. It will have everything you’ll possibly need far exceed most hotel gyms by a mile.
With a free weights section & endless cross-trainers, bikes and treadmills – you can work out in privacy in a fresh & clean environment.
Sheraton Times Square offers disabled access rooms.
With slightly more room for access and a larger bathroom, these rooms are of equal standard to the other rooms – arguably bigger & better!
The access room I was given on the 47th floor did not have a walk in shower but grab rails throughout the bathroom. Even the blackout curtains are electric for your convenience.
As you would expect, the staff are incredibly gracious and helpful throughout the entire property.
I can’t wait to return!
